The humane Animal Rescue Team (HART) is located in Edmonton, AB, Canada. Hart is committed to:

•  rescuing stray, abandoned, and unwanted dogs from rural areas including  the First Nations, to place them in permanent homes, and to provide programs that promote responsible pet ownership, and prevent cruelty to animals.

• building relationships with producers to obtain food donations for the distribution to dogs in need, both prior to rescue and during fostering.

• providing food to rural areas for animals who have no alternate means.
